Stay in the house with your closest friends and family to celebrate with you in the glorious, flower filled gardens. A wedding weekend at The Copse is uniquely yours.

We have 22 acres here at The Copse with areas for a ceremony, a celebration, wedding breakfast and of course music and dancing. We also have furniture, table decorations, garden decorations, lighting, heating, fire pits, bars, flowers, music system… everything you’ll need for a fabulous and memorable event!

This is a real home and the event you create will be unique to you. Your guests will love that this is somewhere special, exclusive and private. Best of all you will be in control of the look, the feel and the cost of your day and we’ll do our very best to accommodate your ideas and plans.

Country Garden Weddings

Stay for 3 nights over 4 days with up to 18 staying in the house in 9 bedrooms, arriving on a Thursday or Friday. Choose your wedding day and have up to 100 guests celebrate your day with you.

The Copse House & Courtyard

There are 9 bedrooms on site - 7 bedrooms in the house with a further 2 bedrooms above the barn - ideal for the groom and his best man to stay before the big day.

In the house you are spoilt for choice for bedrooms and we have a dedicated ‘getting ready area’ for the bride and bridesmaids to have their hair and make-up done together

On the day of your wedding, upon arrival, guests can gather in the barn to enjoy some pre-ceremony drinks then move into the covered Courtyard for your ceremony.

The confetti walk leads down to a lovely bank, popular for group photographs.

Wedding Breakfast Deck

This covered space overlooks the pond and is where you would sit for your wedding breakfast on our rustic furniture. It is waterproof with warm air heating available if wished.

The Garden Bar is situated next to the Breakfast Deck, ideally located to receive your guests for drinks after the ceremony.

The choice of caterers is entirely yours as is your selection of wine and drinks for the bar - with no corkage charge from us! The two kitchens in the house are available to caterers alternatively there are many places in the garden for outdoor cooking or street food vans.

Country Garden Celebration

The barn is where the evening music and dancing happens. A fabulous modern space with chill out furniture, funky lighting and a bar for you to stock and of course an area for those enthusiastic dancers. Step out of the barn onto the sheltered bar terrace, sit and chat then wander up to the Arctic Cabin BBQ and go and toast some marshmallows.

We want your day to be perfect!

Planning your wedding is such an exciting time and you may know immediately and exactly what you want. But there may be moments when you feel overwhelmed or just want to check some details, so do ask us.

If you need them we can provide many willing helpers such as on the day management, waitresses, bar staff and childminders so that you and your guests can completely relax.
