Location and connectionsThe Copse Country House is conveniently located 10 minutes from Reading, 15 minutes from Henley-on-Thames and 25 minutes from Oxford. Reading is the nearest train station – 10 minutes by cab London train to Paddington in 25 minutes 45 minutes from Heathrow via the M4. Click here to go to the Locations & Directions page

Arrival and departure times at The CopseWe can offer check in from 10am and checkout by 6pm (unless agreed otherwise by us).

Capacity at the house20 is the maximum number of people that we permit to stay at the house. Please note that babies/infants in travel cots are not counted in this number.

Things to see and doWe have wonderful gardens to enjoy, garden games, a hot tub, cinema room, games and books in the house. There are plenty of places to visit near and far so do look at our Things To Do Page.

Supplies provided in the houseThe house is provided with linen and towels and toilet rolls. Hairdryers, an iron and ironing board. Cleaning consumables for the kitchen are included: bin bags, washing-up liquid and dishwasher tablets, cloths and tea towels.

Car parkingCar parking is available for those staying at the house. Details of this can be found on the Location and Directions page.

Corporate stays at The CopseThe Copse is perfect for corporate stays. Ideally located for those travelling from all locations with exclusive use in a relaxed environment. Give presentations by connecting to our large tv or use the cinema room.

Payments and depositsAll rates are inclusive of VAT. Payments can be made by bank transfer or by card via our online payment facility. A confirmation payment is required to secure a booking, but the amount will vary depending on the type of booking and when you place the booking. Please see our terms for full details.

Provisional bookingsIn most cases we can provisionally hold a specific date for up to 14 days.

Security depositWhen you book a stay at The Copse, a security deposit of £500 is due before your arrival. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Viewing The Copse Country HouseContact us to arrange a viewing. We welcome visits before placing a booking. Best days to visit are midweek when the house is usually vacant.

CateringBeing a self-catering venue means you can choose if you want to cook yourself, hire in a chef for a dinner party to suit your tastes and budget. Do get in touch if you would like a recommendation for a chef or meal service.

Dog policyWe are happy to consider dogs so do ask. If this is agreed, then you will be advised of the conditions.

Camping at The CopseSorry, but camping is not permitted here.
